Do I have to talk to the app? Does it record me?

You can speak out loud, but Bocca never listens. The app doesn’t use your microphone, doesn’t record your voice and doesn’t score your pronunciation. Repeating is up to you — Bocca shows you the words and lets you practice at your own pace.

How much does Bocca cost?

Bocca starts with a 7-day free trial. After that, you choose a monthly or an annual subscription. Prices in your currency are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime in your store settings.

Which languages does Bocca support?

You practice English: every clip is real, spoken English. The app, translations and explanations are available in English, French, Spanish and German, with more languages coming.

What level do I need?

Any level. Tell Bocca where you’re starting — from “I’m just starting” to “I’m fluent” — and it picks clips that fit, plus a few that stretch you. You can also slow any clip down to 0.75× or 0.5×.

Why only one minute?

Can I practice with my own videos?
